Last week, we gave you our favorite kitchen trends. This week, it’s all about beautiful bathrooms!
1. Rectangular Bath Sinks.
We’ve seen all kinds of sink styles go in and out of fashion over the past few years, but right now, rectangular shapes are very “in.” The rectangle gives the tried and true round bathroom sink a nice, modern update. Furthermore, more and more people are requesting their rectangle sinks be made of porcelain, which brings us to our next point…
2. Porcelain Tiles.
While taupe colored natural stone has typically taken the number one spot for bathroom tile choice, porcelain is quickly becoming a close runner-up. Porcelain is great for the busy bee family who wants a beautiful bathroom with hardly any maintenance. Porcelain tiles look amazing and are so easy to keep clean. And we have patterns and finishes to suit every look—from clean and simple to far-out (like our wood grain porcelain tiles).
3. Rectangular Tiles
Can you tell rectangles are in? First rectangular sinks, and now rectangular tiles. And people are growing tired of the standard 3×6 size – they want more length and less width. We’ve being seeing a lot of 2×6, 3×12, and 4×12. With floor tile, 12×24 has always been a popular choice, but lately we’ve been seeing longer plank style sizes. 6×24 is the new 12×24!
